RESPONSIBILITIES AS A J.S.B.G MEMBER ARE:

1.

Prompt payment of dues, guest billings or assessments.
Dues are $200.00 per half year and are payable in January and July. Dues cover the entire cost of your membership packages including breakfasts. Any member more than 30 days in arrears is not to attend breakfasts. You may bring a guest to our breakfasts for a fee of 15.00 unless the guest is a prospective member then the club will pick up the cost of the guest.

2.

Attend general meetings, if possible 100%. Regular members must attend a minimum      of 50% of all meetings. If a firm has an associate member then the firm must attend           at least 75% of all meetings. Upon arrival at the meeting please highlight your name           on the membership list to verify attendance.

3.

Referral / Sales Sheets are available at each meeting for your use. These are to be            turned in at the end of each meeting. If you so desire, you may take blanks with you to        fill out in advance as this makes your thank-you's easier and frees you up at the meeting     to network more business.

4.

Purchases and Referrals: The main purpose of J.S.B.G is to purchase from our fellow members and to refer business. We are not asking you to serve existing business relationships. We simply ask that J.S.B.G members are considered first as you continue     to operate business.

5.

At each meeting there is a display for all members business cards. Please be sure that        there is a ready supply of your card in the display at all times. This is also where you         will fill your business card caddy with cards from other members in the club making it          easier for you to refer business to them.

6.

Members are strongly encouraged to actively participate on J.S.B.G's various committees such as membership, financial, orientation, grievance and compliance.

7.

The J.S.B.G By Laws are available on request from the club secretary.

8.

Two greeters will be assigned for each meeting at the previous meeting. They are to arrive prior to the meeting.

9.

Club members may schedule craft talks about their respective businesses by contacting fellow member Veronica Cole, Secretary. Craft talks will be scheduled as the schedule permits. New members in particular are strongly encouraged to do this as soon as possible after joining the club as it expedites referrals for you.

10.

You are also encouraged to recruit other qualified business people to join J.S.B.G.               Should you have any questions regarding category availability please contact the membership committee or a board member.

11.

Any suggestions or comments you may have to improve our club should be brought          to the attention of a board member so the board of directors can review your                     suggestion in a prompt manner
